Sadd v Wakrah to be played on Sunday instead of Saturday

​Qatar Stars League has decided to amend the schedule of Round 3 of the 2015/16 edition of the league. This was announced at a press conference which took place at Al Bidaa Tower on Monday morning. Al-Sadd will now play Al-Wakrah at 6 PM on Sunday, the 27th of September at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium instead of Saturday, the 26th.

Al-Sadd have four points from two matches after a 4-0 win over Mesaimeer and a 2-2 draw with Umm Salal.

Meanwhile, the officials also announced a return to the grouping system starting from Round 3, instead of the home-and-away system. In the coming hours, the designated stadiums that will host the matches will be announced.
