Al-Sadd hit six past Mesaimeer in friendly win

​The football first team at Al Sadd played its second friendly match in Doha after returning from the Austrian camp, defeating Mesaimeer 6 – 3 at the secondary pitch of the club on Thursday. The match was held as part of the preparation for the new 2015/16 season.
The team had earlier achieved a 5 – 1 victory over Al-Markhiya in the first friendly match in Doha, which was held last Thursday.
Spainish star and team captain Xavi Hernandez opened the scoring in the 7th minute after an exemplary pass from Algerian Nadir Belhadj, before Brazilian Muriqui added the second goal in the 14th minute from the penalty spot. Mesaimeer came back to reduce the lead with their first goal which was scored by Brazilian player Da Silva in the 20th minute.

The Wolves got their third goal in the 27th after Xavi reacted fastest to a great shot from Hamza al Sanhaji. Muriqui got his second of the game before halftime to make the score 4-1 as the teams went into the break.
In the second half, Hamza added the fifth goal in the 57th minute from a penalty before Da Silva reduced the deficit for Mesaimeer once again from another penalty two minutes later. In the 68th minute, Da Silva scored with a powerful shot from outside the box to bring the score to 5-3. A minute before the end of the normal time, Nasser Sankees scored our sixth goal, which proved to be the last goal of the game, giving the Wolves a 6-3 win.
Al-Sadd started the game with the following lineup: Musa Mohammed, Lee Jong, Gaser Yahya, Omar Yahya, Musab al-Khodr, Nadir Belhadj, Talal al-Baloushi, Xavi Hernandez, Nasser Sankees, Hamza al-Sanhaji and Muriqui.
The following substitutes entered in the second half: Muhannad Naim, Abdullah al Meseiki, Meshaal al-Shammari, Ayyoob Mashhoor, Abdul Rahman Nasser, Hamad Mansour and Aladdin Younis.
