​Al-Sadd football first team continued with its daily training earlier today, without resting after the friendly against Al-Ain the previous day. The friendly was played as part of the preseason preparation camp in Kaprun.

The morning session started at 11 AM with the participation of all players except Khalfan Ibrahim, who underwent a minor surgery on Wednesday that will keep him away from the team for a short while.

The coaching staff, led by the head coach Hussein Amouta, ensured that the players who played against Al-Ain, went through the routine warmup and fitness exercises in order to recover completely. The other players had a practice session that involved training with the ball and culminated with a scrimmage in the middle of the pitch.

The second string and the reserve players will have an evening session in the gym at the Tauern Spa hotel at 6 PM.
